We do recommend that you book in advance however, it is possible to buy your ticket in person on board any of our bus tours, or from a ticket seller on Waterloo Place (From 6th September 2026 our ticket sellers will be at Stop GG, on George Street), during operating hours of Edinburgh Bus Tours.
No, you can buy from our ticket sellers on the day. However, our multi-tour GRAND tickets are cheaper if you pre-purchase online, and we only sell a limited number of Royal Edinburgh Tickets each day to guarantee Edinburgh Castle entry. We recommend booking in advance to secure your tickets.
